Tyler's Room, 13 Griffin Way, Thursday Afternoon

He was done teaching for the week, so Tyler went home, called out a general hello in case Eliza or Lindsay was around, and settled on his bed with that gonzo journalism book about Vegas.

He figured reading it might almost prepare him for going there with Tony. Even though he was almost certain there'd be less LSD on his trip, real stuff in Tony's world would make up for being more or less sober.

After having absolute no luck on his own and having found himself devoid of projects to keep his mind occupied, Tony was wandering on into the house to find Tyler and prove that he wasn't an old man.

Contrary to the--snafu that happened earlier in the week.

"Tyler, take your pants off." Tony really needed to learn to say 'hello' like a normal person.

Tyler put his book down slowly and deliberately.

"Fuck you, take yours off."

If they were skipping hellos.

"Charming," Tony replied, sarcasm coming as easily as breathing. But right now he had other things on his mind. "Did you want romance? I'm pretty sure a week vacation is romantic enough."

"There has to be something between flowers and candles and 'take off your pants now,' " Tyler argued, without heat.

Tony just gave him a look.

And maybe he wasn't his best right now, but that was hardly his fault here. He needed to shave properly. And probably to put on a decent suit to be back in the mood for seduction.

Tyler gave him a look right back, but he took pity and scooted over on the bed. "Sit. Bad week?"

God knew he was having one in some ways.

"Very bad week," Tony confirmed. "I'm much too young for this sort of thing."

"I hear it happens a lot more in your thirties," Tyler said, biting back his smirk.

"And in their twenties, it seems," Tony shot back.

"That was one time," Tyler argued. "It's contagious. I got it from you."

Granted, things hadn't been working right since, either, but he wasn't about to just admit that.

That was such a lie, Tony didn't even know where to begin. "Then prove it."

Oh, that was BRILLIANT. Really now.

"But you're standing right there!" Tyler whined.

Granted, that was usually an enticement rather than the opposite.

Tony rolled his eyes and pushed Tyler to lay down on the bed. "You never complained before."

"I know," Tyler admitted, and frowned. "Monday was weird."

If Tony was lying down anyhow, he could at least let his hand rest on his stomach.

"A fluke?" Tony suggested, really hoping it was the case. "Maybe next time we'll know not to go for a certain number of times in 24 hours."

"A fluke," Tyler agreed with a solemn nod. "We wore ourselves out. Have you tried anything else?"

He was going to regret asking this. He knew it.

Tyler almost called Tony a liar. He had, after all, met Tony.

Of course, he was going to lie himself.

"Not really."

He'd only checked four or five times.

"Then there shouldn't be a problem now," Tony pointed out.

"Shouldn't be," Tyler said defensively.

It didn't feel like there was going to be a problem, as he leaned over for a rather aggressive kiss.

Which, really, Tony could find no fault with. Other than the clothing. And the need to be more horizontal here.

So that would be him, kissing Tyler back just as hard and pulling him down.

Tyler eagerly let himself be pulled, and he was all over Tony like ... white on rice. Or a cheap suit. Or the clich&e; of your choice.

He got so engrossed in the kissing he didn't realize they had never quite closed the door.

'Never quite' was a bit of an understatement.

Nathan had swung by in order to speak to one Miss Elizabeth Bennet about a tea engagement which they had managed to continue to miss. He'd been expecting to head inside to meet a proper British gentlewoman, not--

Well.

There were a few words that escaped his lips when he realized what was behind nice, open Door Number One that he would have never said in mixed company.

Tony was used to a damn audience. Tony grew up surrounded by paparazzi.

Tony... hooked a hand under Tyler's thigh to pull him closer. "If you're not going to take a picture or join in, you might want to close the door," He remarked dryly, going back to his work on giving Tyler yet another hickey.

Tyler squirmed away slightly and flushed when he was absolutely certain who it was. "What he said," he assented, though he'd gone stiff (and not in the good way).

He was not used to an audience just yet.
