Tyler's Room, 33 Apocalypse, Thursday

Tyler was having a normal morning: Coffee, quick workout, more coffee, get online and tell people they were wrong about the season premiere of Supers. Usual stuff, usual parts.

It was probably for the best he didn't know anything was amiss as he tapped away at his laptop. He'd been a girl once, no need to go down that road again.

Tony frowned at him. "That's not exactly fair. If I have to be a woman, so should you."

"I already did that once," Tyler argued. "Maybe it's a one-time thing and I just don't get another go."

He was heartbroken. Clearly.

"Anyhow, you're prettier than I was."

Twisting slightly, Tony peered at his own backside. And shrugged. Not bad.

Then his attention went back to Tyler to try and figure out what kind of woman he'd end up as. "You'd probably be as attractive," He said dismissively.

Tyler was not going to blush. "I was kind of blond," he said, equally dismissively. "Have you looked in the mirror yet, though?"

"I passed one before I got my coffee." That meant no. "Blond..."

Tony cocked his head to the side and pictured that.

Tyler sighed and jabbed his thumb toward his bathroom. "I think you need to take a good look at more than the T&A."

"Blond," he agreed. "And my center of balance was all jacked up. I guess I was kind of cute, though."

That might have been a good idea.

Tony inhaled deeply, walking toward the bathroom to look himself over. "I look like I got lip injections," He called back from there.

"Maybe Pepper thought you needed them," Tyler suggested innocently. "You got good hair, at least."

"I could probably claw you for that," Tony said, looking at his perfectly manicured nails. "And, at the risk of sounding like the guy who was and wasn't you, that was quite possibly the gayest thing you've ever said to me."

"The lips part or the hair part?" Tyler wanted to know, finally stirring to walk into the bathroom. "I like to know how exactly I'm sounding gay."

"It's nice hair!" Tyler protested. "That's ... not helping, is it?"

Tony snorted in amusement. "No. Not really."

"Mean," Tyler pouted. Thinking a girl had pretty hair totally should not count for sounding gay. "Maybe that's my version of embracing my feminine side. I'll just sound really gay all day."

He considered. "I could start singing show tunes."

"Please don't," Tony said, reaching over to clasp his arm. "As much as I like your voice, I don't think I can handle having 'Singing In The Rain' stuck in my head and be a woman."

Tyler was amused by that and leaned into the contact a little. "No, see, you don't want to hear me sing," he said seriously, Woody Allen made a movie that proved that. "Okay. I could ... take you shoe shopping?"

"I might need clothing," Tony admitted, looking down at his sleepwear. And was so glad he wore a tanktop to bed last night.

"And I don't think Miss Bennet would exactly have anything your style," Tyler said. "Unless she's a guy, but then we'd probably hear the shrieking."

He raised an eyebrow. "Want to put on some sweats and we'll head to town?"

Tony nodded slowly. "That works for me."

But there was NO WAY he was wearing those heels Pepper was such a fan of.
