After putting the final touches on his first class, Tyler was starting to feel a little low on zen. Somehow, he wasn't quite in the mood to go to the gym and spar. It was time to break his routine.

Which is how he ended up in lotus position on the rug in front of his desk. Breathing. Listening to Enya. Trying to convince himself he was the calm center of the world.

Either he was going to figure out how to meditate, or he'd just fall asleep. And, hey, cures for insomnia were never bad.

[Open door, open office, though I may be on and off. EDIT: The identities of the ladies with the pie are NFB, please.]

Anemone peered down the hall towards #18, checking to make sure the way was clear before nodding at her partner-in-pie. The mission was a go.

Ino nodded in return, holding up the pie which had been neatly wrapped and prepped for explosion.

She grinned, and started slipping down the hallway on silent feet.

Anemone followed after Ino, bare feet quiet against the floor as she checked to be sure no one was watching from the other offices. This was going to be a piece of cake. Pie. Something.

Definitely pie. A piece of pie.

She paused momentarily at the sight of the stairs by Tyler-sensei's office and considered them, before tilting her head at Anemone, then at the stairs.

Escape route? Definitely.

She crept forward towards his office, even more careful now that they were closer.

Anemone nodded and quickly darted into the stairwell to make sure it was clear, before rejoining Ino and giving her a thumbs-up. Stairs were fine.

They were close enough now she could see the door, but not inside. Why did he have to have the door open, and why was he so quiet in there?

And what was that terrible music?

Ino wouldn't call it terrible but it was definitely sleep inducing. Maybe he was napping? That would make this so much easier.

She inched closer, keeping near the wall and as soundless as possible, most of her attention focused on trying to hear if he was moving around in there.

She hung back slightly so Ino could concentrate, keeping lookout behind them. If he was napping, they were going to have to find a way to wake him without getting caught.

Curiosity getting the better of her, Anemone drifted closer, stretching up on her toes to try and peer over Ino.

There wasn't much movement going on in the room, from what she could hear, and Ino considered her options.

Wait.

She was in his class, right? It was totally acceptable if she came by to bug him for details on it. Ino took a breath, eased the pie to the floor so she wasn't holding it in her hands if he was awake, made herself grin and peeked around the door.

...

Was he meditating?

Anemone grinned to herself, watching Ino check the office. This was going to be awesome.

She glanced back towards the stairs again, and poked at Ino's back to try and get her to hurry up.

The poking just made her squirm, and Ino looked back and wrinkled her nose at Anemone and mouthed 'he's asleep!' at her.

It was close enough. And it was easier to read 'asleep' than 'meditating' when you were trying to be silent. She edged the pie through the door and very carefully into his office. Just inside of it.

Time to run? Oh yes. Ino backed away from the door, so she wasn't right there, and raised her fist against the wall inquiringly. Did Anemone want to do the honour of waking him up?

Anemone nodded, raising her own fist and glancing back towards the stairs before looking at Ino and mouthing 'retreat'. It would be easier to run if they weren't both aiming for the stairs at the same time.

She moved away from the door a bit more before pulling her hand back and banging sharply against the wall of his office, then fleeing quickly for their hiding spot.

Ino darted silently down the hall the moment Anemone had told her to retreat, taking the stairs quickly and hearing her partner-in-pie banging on the wall before fleeing after her.

The stairs then, and they fled into the room they'd checked beforehand to make certain it was secure. Once they were both in, she closed the door and leaned against it.

Now, it was only one more step. She closed her eyes, concentrating.

Ino waited a minute, maybe slightly over that, just to make sure he'd have picked up the pie but hopefully not so long that he'd put it down yet.

Then she activated the tag. And grinned.

Ten seconds now.
