13 Griffin Way, Friday Morning

Tyler hadn't meant to fall asleep on the couch the night before, but it had happened. He'd been watching some bad softcore movie on Cinemax and somehow when he closed his eyes it had turned into a dream about a baseball field filled with gently bouncing naked people.

It was, possibly, the nicest night's sleep Tyler had had since childhood, at least until he woke up to something moist on his face. "Ew, Tony," he said, not opening his eyes. "What's with your breath?"

Lindsay's dog Martha licked him again, panted and yipped, and Tyler's higher brain finally came online enough for him to realize this wasn't Tony. "Mommy was too busy to feed you, huh, girl?" he asked the dog, as he padded into the kitchen in his boxer shorts and t-shirt to pour out a dish of dry dogfood.

He started the coffee and blinked hard, trying to get naked flesh out of his head.

"Hmm," she said pretending to mull it over. "I'm not sure. Turn around and let me get a good look."

Tyler felt like he should be ashamed of himself, but he turned around.

And shook his ass. Happily, even.

"Do I get another look at those pants?"

"You mean with me in them or out of them?" she said immediately before realizing what she just said.

"Um. That came out a little dirtier than I meant," she said getting flushed and quickly kneeled down to give Martha some attention.

Which probably showed off more of her assets than she intended.

"First one then the other?" Tyler tried, kneeling next to her. "What are you doing in leather pants at this time of the morning, anyhow?"

"Spent the night elsewhere," she admitted with a bit of a blush. "So, yeah. You caught me in my walk of shame."

"Is Ronon still the lucky guy?" Tyler asked, trying (and almost failing) to act like the answer didn't matter to him.

"Yeah, you know," she said with a little shrug. "there's a... Thing. Know what I mean?"

"Believe me I know what you mean," Tyler said, and then, because it was just that kind of day, was unable to stop himself from adding ... "Do you ever wish you didn't have a thing, and I didn't have a thing, so we could, y'know, do thing stuff?"

Eloquence, Tyler reflected, was not his middle name when he was talking about romance. Also, Lindsay had a teriffic rack.

So not eloquent. And yet Lindsay couldn't help but shoot him a flirtatious grin.

"If there weren't any attachments?" she said posing the question. "I think Lizzy would have to move out because of our scandalous behavior."

"Is an open relationship really an attachment?" Tyler heard himself asking lazily. He leaned closer, trailing his fingers over the leather. Somehow he had to touch it.

Lindsay took a sudden intake of breath at the touch. "You tell me," she said with a catch in her voice. "Relationships have... never been my strong suit."

Tyler widened his hand, flattening his palm against her thigh. "I sleep with your boss," he reminded her, because that said everything there was to say about Tyler and relationships.

God, she was pretty.

"God, you're pretty."

Shut up, Tyler.

"And I sleep with a guy who could possibly rip our arms off," Lindsay said biting her lip. "This... could be a very bad idea."

But she certainly wasn't moving that hand away.

"Worst idea ever," Tyler said, and maybe Tony and Ronon just wouldn't find out?

"Stupid fucking squirrels are probably watching," he said, answering his own thought, and leaned in to kiss her anyhow.

And suddenly Lindsay found herself tilting her head and leaning in...

And then just as suddenly pulling back, her hand reaching out to Tyler's chest to try and block him.

"Tyler... I can't."

He sat back with a distinctly pissed off expression on his face and a rather obvious problem in his shorts. "but I just -"

He bit off the sentence. A moment later, he started to calm down. (Still with the shorts problem, but that would go away on its own. He didn't look quite as pissed off, though.)

"Ronon and Tony." It wasn't really a question.

"I'm sorry," she said sincerely, "I've just fucked up so many things in my life to this point... I can't risk it."

"I know. I know." Tyler said, standing up to go sit over on the couch and away from Lindsay.

She still had a really nice rack and he was just going to look at his own knees and feet for now.

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I came on so strong. Can we just..."

He wanted to say pretend it never happened, but he wasn't sure that was even what he meant.

"Let it go."

Lindsay looked at Tyler for a moment or two, telling herself that stopping now was the best thing for everyone.

And yet...

Lindsay suddenly launched herself at Tyler, attempting to pull him down to the floor and kiss him savagely.

"I'm so going to hell for this" she thought to herself.

Tyler was surprised, but he quickly got into the rhythm of the kissing, bringing his teeth into it as he ran his hands over her back.

He wondered what had changed her mind so suddenly, but it was hard to ask when she was kissing his face off. He kissed back hard and sloppily, devouring her.

Even if Tyler was able to ask the question, it was doubtful that Linz would be able to even think of one.

And frankly the last thing she wanted to do was think as she began the struggle to remove what clothing Tyler might be wearing.

It wasn't much; she could probably get it off quickly, even with his hands interfering by trying to find the zipper of her pants.

Going to hell, absolutely. Both of them. And probably traumatizing poor Martha.

With Tyler's clothes off, Linz was more than willing to help with zipper. And anything else that needed removing.

And fortunately for Martha there wasn't much to see as the rest of Tyler and Lindsay's actions were [NFB].
