Office Hours, Monday, 4/13
Tyler wasn't making much progress on his lesson plan for the week; he had gotten dragooned into a tea party with a very demanding five-year-old.
Anyone who looked in his office door for much of the morning would find the anarchist leader of Fight Club sitting cross-legged on the floor, wearing a construction paper hat decorated with wilting flowers and sipping Kool-aid from a paper cup.
"Keep your pinkie out, Daddy," Estella commanded, giggling.
Daddy obeyed.
[OOC: Open office door to visit Tyler or Estella, or to crash the tea party.]

How did one react to that other than snickering. A lot.

Estella was, in fact, setting up two more paper cups to fill.
He froze up just a little when he realized Tony had a kid with him. "Who's your friend?"
no subject
Whoever this Doom guy was, he was going to get smacked when Tony met him.
no subject
"And, one of the kid claiming to be yours? How many did you end up with, Tony?"
no subject
Jame just gave him an affronted look. "Dad!"
no subject
Estella had filled the paper cups, splashing only a little on herself, and was shoving one at James. "Hi! Have tea!"
no subject
But, he was his father's son and he dutifully sat down to appease the small and adorable girl. "Hi," He grumbled sulkily.
"They all ended up with their mothers," Tony replied. "Apparently I'm supposed to keep him from Steve's class to preserve the kid's sanity."
no subject
"I called Marla. She made me promise to take pictures." Which was about the extent of her maternal input, but it wasn't like Tyler expected more.
Estella chattered away at James, ignoring his sulkiness. "Do you want extra sugar in your tea? Tea is best with lots and lots of sugar. And after we drink tea we can play dress-up!"
no subject
James had been in the middle of holding up his cup to play along with the kid--because he was aoooo much older and mature-- when he turned to glare again. "It was an accident!"
no subject
"Did you want to?" Tyler asked, diverted for a moment.
Estella considered this. "... it might be pretty!"

Tyler just stood back to watch this.
no subject
"No. I don't." Tony looked around for the coffee because he wasn't that good at this whole... kid thing.
no subject
Tyler? Still just watching, though he did take a sympathetic sip from his own cup.
With pinky properly aloft.

She did not budge an inch.

"Tea. First." She said, jutting out her chin and squinting her eyes.
Tyler stood back, holding his breath.

Oh. Someone would pay.
"I hate children."
no subject
Please, god, let that be soon.

James gave Estella a quick grin before following after him.

Estella was already pouring another cup.

"Isae," Ino's voice came carrying down the hall as the girl bounced into the room, "are you bothering Tyler-sensei?"
Ino, with slightly littler blond haired boy paused in the doorway. And stared. "Nice hat," Ino managed, doing her best to not giggle her head off. "Are those the flowers I gave you in it?"
no subject
no subject
"Hi! Do you want sugar in the tea?" Estella contributed.
The "tea" was actually blue Kool-Aid.
no subject
Ino gently pushed Ken forward while Isae took a seat on the floor. "This is Ken," Ino said grinning a bit. "You might have seen him last night at club."
no subject
"No," Ino said dryly, "it's not. That's why it's a club and not the point of the school, sweetie."
"Sugar for me, please!" Isae chirped.
no subject
Her father, meanwhile was nodding. "I noticed you have a little one at Fight Club," he said. "Is he going to be a ninja?"
no subject
"Are they pretty flowers?" Isae asked, giving the ones Tyler was wearing a slightly dubious look. "Thank you for the tea. Only pretty flowers get to be used."
Even though it really wasn't tea.
no subject
They weren't really pretty, no, but they were among the best of those still living from Thursday's delivery.
"So you have three kids now, Ino?" Tyler asked, amused. "I only got the one."
no subject
"Lucky you," Ino said dryly, "I've got four. These two are the easy ones."
no subject
"... they do go home, right?"
no subject
Ino shrugged a bit. "Apparently I've taught them to listen fairly well to me. Ichigo's the one they keep running roughshod over."
"Okaasan's scary when she's mad," Isae contributed, grinning up at Ino.
"So it's not too bad 'less there's the four of them. Bedtime is probably the worst part of the day."

It helped that Ino liked bossing people around.

"He does pretty good with two of them at a time," she admitted, "it's just, when there's four, I think he gets freaked out."
no subject
Estella was chattering away about the tea. "my tongue is blue!" she informed Ino, sticking out said tongue.
no subject
"Yup," she said, glancing back at Tyler while Isae passed her 'tea' off to Ken. "He didn't have class today, so he got the hyper-active ones."
no subject
No. No, he didn't.
