Secluded Corner of the Beach, Saturday After Dark
Louis had passed the day in the chambers where he had awakened and now, after dark, he was free to roam through the town.
Most vampires would have hunted, but Louis was not most vampires. He had no taste for the townspeople in their bright, cheap clothes. He was drawn, instead, by the rhythm of the ocean, its endless dance. He could sup on seagulls, perhaps.
He took a seat on the rocks to look at the water, wishing just once to see it blue again instead of ink-black.
[OOC: For one, possibly two? But open if you're on the beach.]

He'd gathered from the thoughts of the
NPCinhabitants that he had somehow wound up on an island, still in America, of a comfortable size and with a population that tended to overlook the odd happenings that the presence of a vampire or three might come with.Certainly not a permanent home, but it held potential for great enjoyment in the meantime.
But first, to find his happy little family. To make certain that Louis wasn't going to mope his way into a corner and miss all the fun.
"Louis! Louis! I should have known I'd find you wandering the shore, staring out at the waves." He smiled, a cocky, self-indulgent smile as he approached the other on the beach before him. "This entire island before us, and you're pondering the taste of the birds, no doubt."

A tiny, dark figure, moving quietly but steadily forward.
And there he was.
"Louis? Louis!" She gathered up her skirts and ran towards him.
