Office #18, All Day Monday

A new semester and new class meant Tyler should probably actually go to his office and do work, especially since he still needed to brush up on his own history before he could inflict his knowledge on anyone else.

Mostly, this meant he was paging through A People's History of the United States and counting how many ways people who didn't look like him had gotten screwed over. The answer seemed to be "a lot."

The office door was open.

"Anyone I would know?" Tyler's eyes had somehow skipped right over Steve's name on the lists of teachers he had seen.

"Steve Rogers? He was a teacher here before as well."

Tyler guffawed. "Steve," he informed Tony, "was a housemate of mine the first half of the summer. Good guy. I remember he said there was some kind of trouble at home when he left. Things cleared up?"

A beat. "Also something about an armadillo cake for Deadpool."

"Really?" Tony perked up at that. "Apparently he knows a version of me back home. If I'm not mistaken I was the trouble."

"The Anthony Edward Stark who wants to take over the world?" Tyler asked. "I don't think he went into details when he was heading out."

"And tried to kill him," Tony added, oh so helpfully. "And you know how well I react to people who go out of their way to dislike me."

He just HAD to try and change that.

"I know how much you need to be loved," Tyler answered with a small smile. "Did you find out what happened to that you?"

"He's not sharing," Tony said, going serious for just a moment. "Though you could always mention to him that sharing is caring when kidnappings happen."

"Does the Banner in his world look like me?" Tyler wondered. "'Cause if he does, he is really fucking good at not sharing. Never said a word."

"It might just be mine," Tony admitted. "But he does know a Bruce Banner."

"Does his Stark look like you?" Tyler wondered, still trying to sort out parallel universes. "Though I'm guessing he doesn't exactly have a photo of the guy in his wallet."

"...I never thought to ask," Tony said. He just assumed that was the case.

"I'll find his office and ask," Tyler decided. "What's he teaching? Art again?"

"Oh no." Tony was positively evil. "Sex ed."

Tyler looked at Tony, bewildered, to see if he was serious.

Then he just started laughing. He had, after all, met Steve.

"I'm sure you'll provide expert advice."

"I think I might be stopping by here on the way to his class quite a bit," Tony said with a grin. "I wouldn't miss it for the world."

"I'll make sure I make extra coffee."

"You know the way to my heart so well," Tony said, sighing happily.
